Two Bunch Palms Elementary School Cleaned! What a great day!
Posted on February 5, 2023
On Saturday, February 4th, Desert Hot Springs Mayor Scott Matas and School Principal and Rotarian Denise Fenton led a group of about 35 parents, teachers and students who spent the morning cleaning the grounds of Two Bunch Palms Elementary. Also included in the group were a dozen United States Marines who did the heavy lifting and were very much appreciated. The dumpster overflowed.
Mayor Matas’ Downtown Beautification Committee is focusing on improving neighborhoods, downtown businesses, and schools. The Committee has already focused on Bella Vista Elementary and Painted Hills Intermediate. Having now completed Two Bunch Palms Elementary, five schools remain. We hope to focus on Desert Hot Springs High School in early April.
