In Memory Of Ronald “Ron” Gilbert

It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend Ron Gilbert. Ron was a long-time resident of Desert Hot Springs and was best known for his website “Ron’s Log” which so beautifully chronicled life in DHS through photos and commentary. Ron loved to comment on City Council meetings and local events, always sharing his insightful views and observations along with stunning photos. He actually kept a few people on their toes! Through his camera, he shared his life. Ron was a fixture in Desert Hot Springs. And he was a heck of a nice guy.

We know very little about Ron’s passing except that it likely happened a number of days ago. We will be sure to share word of any memorial events.
