This guide is designed to help LGBTQ youth who aren’t able to rely on their parents or guardians for financial support. Far too many youth are forced to leave their homes simply because they are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning (LGBTQ). This guide is designed to help youth who are LGBTQ and aren’t able to rely on their parents or guardians for financial support. It aims to answer some of the first questions a young person might have. Being on one’s own is hard for everybody and especially daunting for young people who are LGBTQ — this guide is here to help.
