Equality California – Civil Rights Protection

Working closely with members of the California Legislative LGBTQ Caucus and other pro-equality legislators, Equality California sponsors and supports pro-equality state legislation in Sacramento. Together, we’ve enacted the strongest statewide civil rights protections for LGBTQ+ people in the nation. As of January 2022, the California Legislature has passed 174 bills and resolutions sponsored by Equality California to advance LGBTQ+ civil rights and social justice.
